Where to find up-to-date info
We know there’s always a LOT going on in our gym community and we do our very best to keep you guys informed regularly! We also know there there are a lot of new folks who may not know where to look for that info. So for those people, and for those of you who just need a friendly reminder, here’s a list of ways we communicate with you!!
- EMAIL – monthly newsletters and announcements of major changes and updates. If you don’t receive our emails, first check your spam/junk box. If they’re not there, let us know so we can confirm that we have the right email address on file
- WHITEBOARD – check the WOD whiteboard for event reminders and other announcements
- GYM CALENDAR – check the whiteboard calendar at each gym for upcoming events, holiday closures and schedule changes
- WEBSITE – http://crossfitre.com/ – the newsletters are reposted under “News” and schedule changes are posted under “Schedule”
- FACEBOOK – make sure you’re in our Member’s Only group – we’ll share the newsletter here, as well as post about events, reminders and pretty much anything 😉
- TRIIB APP – we do our best to keep the class schedule up to date on the app, so make sure you have it downloaded on your phone!
And of course, we’re always happy to answer any questions you guys have, so if you can’t find the info you’re looking for, ask a coach, shoot us an email or Facebook message, or make a post in the Facebook group!
Schedule changes at Columbia City
As you may have heard, we’re shaking things up a bit with the Columbia City/Clubhouse schedule! Here are the changes to look for:
Cancellations – Effective Now
5:45 am MetCon on Tuesdays & Thursdays has been cancelled at the Clubhouse
7:00 am Mobility on Thursdays has been cancelled at the Clubhouse
Additions – Effective October 1
7:00 am Thursdays – Power Lifting will be ADDED at the Clubhouse
9:00 am Monday thru Friday – MetCon will be ADDED at the Columbia City Main Gym**
** On Tuesdays & Thursdays, this class will be a WOMEN’S ONLY FREE COMMUNITY CLASS.
We are SO excited to finally be launching this class! This is one small way we can extend the gift of fitness and family to others in our neighborhood. Can’t wait!
In an effort to make the most of our resources (i.e. our awesome coaches and killer Clubhouse space), we’d like to put SOMETHING in that 5:30/5:45 am slot at the Clubhouse that will be well-attended and appreciated. Be on the lookout for a Facebook poll if you’d like to give input on what sort of class we should add. Or if you’re not on FB, feel free to reply to this email and share your thoughts!
Fundamentals at SODO
Fundamentals is back at SODO for the month of September! Are you new to CrossFit and need some help tackling all the new movements? Or just need a refresher on a couple specific skills (Snatches, anyone?!?!)? Look no further than Fundamentals 🙂
The smaller class size and slower pace of the Fundies classes are the perfect way to help you build confidence and set you up for long-term success. And the best part? They’re included in your membership!!

NEW Monthly Free Community Day
As a fun way to reach more members of our communities, and to help you to introduce your friends and family to the gym you love, we’re instating a monthly FREE Community Day!
Beginning Saturday, October 6, the first Saturday of every month at both locations will be Community Day. That means EVERYONE is invited to join us for a free workout — programming will be structured to accommodate large groups and all levels, so that everyone has a blast and gets a great workout 🙂
COMMUNITY CLASSES — 1st Saturdays:
SODO: 8:45 am MetCon
CC: 6:30 am, 9 am & 10 am CrossFit
We’ll post reminders about this as the first date approaches, but if you know of someone who has been wanting to check us out, tell them to put this on their calendar now!!
Updates to our Referral Program
Speaking of introducing folks to the gym, we LOVE it when you recommend CrossFit RE to your friends and family! In fact, we appreciate it so much that we’ve always rewarded you for it 🙂
Going forward, we’re offering you even more options for cashing in on your “referral bonus”!

Fall CrossFit Kids Program
CrossFit Kids classes will resume on September 18th! There are some new class times and different membership and pricing options, so check out the Kids page on our website for more details: http://crossfitre.com/crossfit-kids/
